Pandora bites $90M bullet

Ouch, and you thought you were having a bad month?  According to an article on The Guardian, the powerhouses of the music industry (Capitol Records and Warner Music, just to name two) claim that Pandora was acting like a turd when it did not pay royalties for streaming music that was created before 1972.  Pandora pointed out that copyright laws only protect tunes made after this year, and while that’s technically true, it’s a dick-move to increase profits without rewarding the artists simply because of a legal loophole.
